AI engineer building LLM applications, RAG and agents for production

AI engineer with 7+ years in Python and production AI, focused on LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and document pipelines. At explai, I build and operate LLM applications and agents for enterprise customers: hybrid-search retrieval with re-ranking, backend services and data connectors, evaluation and tracing, and deployment on AWS. Before that, I built document retrieval with OCR-based ingestion at BAM (the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing) and a RAG backend at Union Investment. Ph.D. in Computational Science.
